This site has been revived after 2012. I recently had a resurgence of interest in J. Krishnamurti’s work. Perhaps it was driven by these troubled times when the world is fighting a serious infection of COVID-19 virus. This has made me think deeper about the value of human existence, and all that ‘the humans’ take for granted. I’ve also been thinking about how JK referred to ‘freedom’ and how minds are programmed. I shan’t deviate onto that in this post.
Having reviewed a lot of JK’s thoughts, life and work, I come to understand how and why it is not on ‘the big stage’. And this post is not an attempt to bring his work into prominence. JK had no such ambitions. The video below shows the vastness of his life’s work, to persevere for the betterment of our ‘world’. It is so enormous it would take a life time to extract the deep key elements. I am thankful that the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust (in England) has taken up the enormous task of preserving and disseminating his work. I do not call it ‘teachings’ – though they do. JK usually saw his work as an exploration. He never sought to ‘teach’ people. He brought them to discovery and if they got there, it was up to them to decide what they might do in order to bring about change.
